Prior to the beginning of every school year, Denver Public Schools requires parents/guardians to complete the Annual Family Update for every student that you have in DPS. Completing the Annual Family Update officially confirms your student’s registration and assures them a seat and schedule at our school.
Remember, the Annual Family Update is a required step for enrollment in our school and should be completed prior to August 9th. You may access the Annual Family Update through the Parent Portal or through the following link:
The Annual Family Update can only be completed by the parent/guardian listed in the primary household of the student record. This process allows you to: update contact information and preferences, upload proof of address for address changes, add or remove emergency contacts, provide information about health conditions and medications, upload immunization documentation, and review and sign policies and releases.

As you are aware, the first day of school will take place in the fully remote context on August 24th. A progression into the hybrid learning context is planned to occur on October 16th. Parents and guardians may also select a fully remote option for their students through the first semester of the school year. This option may be selected through the Annual Family Update process. If you have already completed the Annual Family Update, you will find an “addendum” form with which to request the fully remote option coming soon.
