Incoming Students

Acceptance letters to Denver East will be sent via email/text from the DPS School of Choice Office in late March or early April. If you have questions regarding the School of Choice process or outcomes please contact their office directly at 720-423-3493.

Advanced Algebra 2 Placement Test: If your student has already taken both a full year of Algebra and Geometry in middle school and is interested in taking the placement assessment to get into Advanced Algebra 2 as a 9th grader, we will likely now be offering that assessment during 9th Grade Academy

If your student has taken a full year of both Algebra and Geometry and he/she would like to take Advanced Algebra 2 as a 9th grader, your student MUST take our math assessment (specific details coming soon). This test will cover comprehensive Algebra 1 and Geometry concepts to ensure students are well prepared for Advanced Algebra 2. Please click here for a list of topics covered within the Advanced Algebra 2 Assessment.

Due to the mass number of requests, we cannot accommodate individual tours and matriculation appointments regarding your incoming student. If you have additional questions following your attendance at one of the three choice of studies evenings, please email your student’s counselor (counselor directory). Our eight offered open houses have also concluded for the school year. Please check our calendar for academic, arts or athletic events that you can attend with your student to get a feel for talent, culture and student body of our Angels!
