- Wednesday: Album Cover Day – dress up as your favorite album cover, musician, or band
- Thursday: Imposter Day – dress up as someone else or as a character in the game Among Us
- Friday: Red and White day – rock your East gear with pride!
Attention freshmen Families, information about 9th Grade Academy has been sent out via email and posted at https://east.dpsk12.org/news/2020/11/updated-9th-grade-academy/. For students who have selected the “in-person/hybrid” learning option, you should pay close attention to the schedule for sessions based on the student’s last name. For those who have chosen the “100% virtual” option, more information will be coming soon. Sessions for in-person hybrid students will begin on Monday, November 9th, again based on student last name.
Angel Packs is offering the traditional Thanksgiving boxes that have been provided through the East Pantry for many years. This year, we need to get a commitment ahead of time as to who would like to receive a box. To participate please email email@example.com with name, email and phone number and number of people in in the household by Monday, Nov 9th. Boxes will be available at East, curbside on Detroit Street, 10am-12pm on Saturday, November 21.
East High School is doing our best to inform and support students through a course completion process for the course(s) they did not complete last Spring (Semester Two), when we transitioned to remote learning in March. Counselors will be sending out a D and F concerns email on Nov. 10. In the meantime, please sit down with your child and look at both their Schoology and Infinite Campus to check their progress.
Reminder to seniors that they MUST request their Nov. 15th transcripts for college immediately through their counselor’s google form that can be found on the East Website. Ideally This should be done two weeks in advance from the deadline, so please make sure your seniors take care of this ASAP.
