Number 1, thank you, thank you, thank you for your partnership as we have moved through this year. We have taken on many challenges together and your patience and positive outlook have allowed there to be many successes.
Congratulations to our Angels in the Class of 2021. We had a great graduation ceremony on Monday afternoon and we wish you the best!
Virtual Learning Program
Families who would like to enroll their student in the DPS remote learning program for the duration of the 2021-22 school year must complete the Learning Option Selection form on the Parent Portal between now and June 4. They can also call the East Main office at 720-423-8300 to complete the process over the phone. Families who do not take action will automatically be enrolled in in-person learning at their assigned school. Review instructions for completing the Learning Option Selection for schools, and share instructions for completing the Learning Option Selection for families.
Annual Family Update
The Annual Family Update is the required action that it takes to confirm your students enrollment at East- you will be able to complete that confirmation starting on July 26th. We will give you plenty of reminders once that rolls around! All incoming and returning students must complete this yearly requirement to verify your student’s enrollment regardless of virtual or in-person learning. Please note – If you have already completed your Choice of Study information for next year or other incoming student information, you MUST still complete the Annual Family Update. This can be done online or at East High School however online registration is preferred.
To register online, sign in to Parent Portal, click on “See All Apps,” then click on “Online Registration” to verify or update your student’s information. Online registration can only be completed by the parent/guardian listed in the primary household of the student record.

The Gathering Place is hosting a vaccination clinic this weekend on 5/29/2021 from noon to 6pm. Open to everyone 12+ (It’s Pfizer) No ID or insurance is required.
Additionally – To support students in accessing a COVID-19 vaccine, DPS’ health-care partners have multiple ways for DPS students and their families to sign up for a vaccine appointment. Visit our vaccine page on the website for the latest opportunities, many available for both students and their families.
With summer approaching and planning for our next school year underway, there are a few important things to keep in mind:
- Students should keep their Chromebooks over the summer so they can continue to learn and access resources like Sora, which is our online library.
- However, if your student is graduating, transferring to a charter school or otherwise leaving the district, you must return their computer prior to disenrollling. Please bring your device to the main office prior to leaving.
