We are excited to share that our very own Madam Principal recently visited Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA. This visit holds profound significance as Independence Hall is the architectural inspiration behind our very own East High School building!
Independence Hall, a symbol of American liberty and the birthplace of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, has inspired countless individuals and institutions. Its timeless elegance and historical importance serve as a testament to the enduring values of freedom and democracy. Our school’s design, modeled after this iconic structure, embodies these principles, creating an environment that nurtures both academic excellence and civic responsibility.
During her visit, Madam Principal had the opportunity to dive deeper into the rich history of Independence Hall. She reflected on the architectural brilliance that influenced the design of East High School.
This visit not only highlights the architectural lineage of East High School but also reinforces our commitment to preserving and celebrating our heritage. As we approach the 100th anniversary of our school and the 150th anniversary of our building, this connection to Independence Hall reminds us of the legacy we are a part of and the responsibilities we carry forward.
We are proud to see our school designed after such iconic history and are excited to continue our journey, inspired by the past and looking towards a future filled with promise and potential!
