Course Catalog and Class Request Options: If you would like to familiarize yourself with the 9th grade and transfer student class choice options in advance, please check out our grade level specific choice of studies options here. On this webpage you will also find our linked course catalog with descriptions of all 9-12th course offerings at East. Counselors will answer all of your questions and guide you through this process in our breakout sessions.
Individual Meeting Requests: Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate individual matriculation meeting requests and appointments with incoming families while we are supporting our current students at East. We look forward to meeting you and answering all of your questions in our breakout sessions on April 11th-13th. Thank you for your understanding.
Schedules: Your student’s schedule will be viewable on the student and parent portal the first week of August 2022. We will share more information at that time on how to make an appointment with your counselor and request a schedule change.
Advanced Math Placement Assessment Option: If your incoming student has taken a full year of both Algebra AND Geometry and your student would like to take Advanced Algebra 2 as a 9th grader, your student MUST take our math assessment on either May 10th or May 11th from 4:00-6:00 in the Panek Gym. Please mark your calendars. This test will cover comprehensive Algebra 1 and Geometry concepts to ensure students are well prepared for Advanced Algebra 2 as Algebra 2 is traditionally a junior level course. You will have an opportunity to RSVP and indicate your interest in Advanced Algebra 2 math testing during your choice of studies breakout sessions. Ninth grade students are able to self-select Algebra 1, Algebra 1 Honors or Geometry Honors without testing. We recommend speaking to your student’s current math teacher for their recommendation.
