East Speech & Debate Shines at Overland High School Tournament
This past weekend, our East Speech & Debate team delivered an outstanding performance at the Overland High School competition, held on Friday and Saturday. Not only did our team emerge as tournament champions, but we also secured victories in four individual categories—a testament to the dedication and talent of our students.
🏆 Individual Champions:
✨ Fiona Macdonald – International Extemp
✨ Grayson Kasper – Humorous Interpretation
✨ Preston Kang & Rosetta Pring – Duo Interpretation
✨ Gavin Neale – Congressional Debate
In addition to these incredible wins, 38 of our 56 competitors advanced beyond the preliminary rounds, showcasing the depth and strength of our program. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, resilience, and passion for speech and debate.
