| Dear Incoming East Angel, East High School will host our Incoming 9th Grade & Transfer Student Choice of Studies Evenings: *IN PERSON on Monday April 15 from 5:30-7:30 pm; Tuesday, April 16 from 5:30-7:30 pm or * VIRTUALLY on Wednesday, April 17 from 6:00-7:00 pm. The same information will be shared at each event & attendance on one of these nights is MANDATORY for all incoming families. PLEASE HAVE A SMARTPHONE OR CHROMEBOOK WITH YOU DURING THESE EVENTS TO INPUT YOUR CLASS REQUESTS. We will also have paper copies available in person, if needed. We also plan to have Spanish presentation available each evening. *Students with IEPs currently receiving special education services- Please bring a copy of your IEP with you or email to Amanda_Hanna@dpsk12.net, if possible. You will have access to a small group course selection option with an IEP case manager. *Transfer Students- Please bring a copy of your transcript with you or email to Holly_Hyosaka@dpsk12.net, if possible. It is ok if unofficial for this event. **If you are currently an 11th grader, please email your specific East counselor listed here ASAP to set up an individual appointment regarding senior year planning and your schedule OPTIONAL Resource fair: Sports, clubs, academic departments, and activities will also be represented at our optional Resource Fair in the East Foyer (front of the school) on Monday, April 15 and Tuesday April 16 from 5:30- 6:00. Following the resource fair, counselors will guide groups of students and families through choosing their classes for next school year. RSVP For Our Upcoming Events Here!
