Student Spotlight Meet Brielle Burkett, a dynamic rising 10th grader who excels both on the field and in the classroom. As a three-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse, she embodies versatility and dedication. Beyond athletics, Brielle’s passion extends to the arts, where she showcases her talent as a member of our choir, and enjoys photography. We are thrilled to share that Brielle has been selected as one of the 18 teens to join Snap, Inc.’s (Snapchat’s) first Council for Digital Well-Being. This prestigious opportunity is a testament to Brielle’s dedication and innovative ideas regarding online safety and digital well-being. As a council member, Brielle will participate in monthly meetings with the Snap Safety Advisory Board, contributing valuable insights and recommendations. She will also have the chance to attend an in-person summit at Snap’s headquarters in Santa Monica, where she will collaborate with other council members on initiatives to enhance online safety. We are incredibly proud of Brielle and excited to see the positive impact she will make through this role. For more information about the Council for Digital Well-Being, visit Snap’s News.
