We are excited to share the installation of a new all-gender multi-stall restroom at East High School! This project, a collaboration with the Facilities Department, reflects our commitment to inclusivity and equity, providing a welcoming space for all students.
Given the size of our East community, a single-stall restroom is not sufficient, so we’ve implemented a multi-stall design. The stalls are designed for privacy, with 12-foot-tall partitions to ensure comfort and security.
These restrooms serve those who may feel uncomfortable in gender-specific facilities and align with our values of supporting every student. We’ve developed a plan to supervise, monitor, and maintain cleanliness, just as we do with all restrooms.
We’re grateful for the support of the Bond Oversight Committee, who have worked to approve funding for these installations. Together, we’re fostering a school environment where every student feels safe and respected.
